Dental Thoughts

I recline, speechless in my motored chair,
Wearing a clean bib and soiled dignity,
While she, clothed in white authority,
Arranges her steel tools
And commands my mouth to open,
While hers is masked and hidden.
I am to her a client whose gums bleed,
Whose hygeine needs attention.
She is to me a gentle torturer,
Who will clean my teeth and chastise me.
I have strayed from the flossing path.
She will repair and remotivate me.
